Headless websites

We provide full engineering support for sites built on Sanity, Payload CMS and Contentful, with front-ends in Next.js and Astro. That covers everything from routine dependency updates and security patches to schema changes, editorial workflow improvements and new page templates, so your content team is never stuck waiting on a build nobody understands.

Headless commerce

Headless storefronts carry extra moving parts: commerce APIs, payment providers, inventory and email integrations, and the campaign calendar that depends on all of them. We maintain headless commerce builds on platforms including Shopify, Centra and Medusa, keeping storefronts stable through product drops, seasonal peaks and platform API changes.

Mobile apps

Apps need maintenance in a way websites are sometimes forgiven for skipping: operating system updates, store policy changes and SDK deprecations arrive on Apple's and Google's schedule, not yours. We support apps built with React Native and Flutter, as well as native iOS and Android, handling updates, releases and store submissions as part of your plan.

Two kinds of work, allocated openly

Every partnership divides its engineering time between two kinds of work, and we are open about the split at each tier.

Proactive maintenance is everything that keeps your system healthy without you asking: dependency and security updates, monitoring response, performance tuning, accessibility upkeep and platform API changes. On smaller plans this is most of the work, because stability comes first.

New features and enhancements are the improvements you direct: new templates and components, campaign support, integrations and functional upgrades. As partnerships grow, the balance shifts deliberately towards this, because a well-maintained headless system shouldn't just stay alive, it should keep getting better.

How every partnership works

You always know what we are doing and why. Every client, on every tier, gets a Notion client portal with a live view of the task board and progress, and client-side issue reporting through BugHerd, so your team can flag a problem from the page it appears on in seconds. From the Growth tier upwards we add a shared communication channel alongside the portal, in the tool your team already uses.

We name our monitoring stack rather than gesturing at "professional tools": uptime and health monitoring with Monspark, performance, accessibility and carbon monitoring with SiteBeacon (our own platform, measuring Google Core Web Vitals, WCAG standards and emissions page by page), error tracking and logging with Sentry and BetterStack, and technical SEO monitoring with Sitebulb and Google Search Console. Which parts of the suite are active depends on your tier, shown in the comparison below.

Packages and pricing

We offer tiered plans designed to provide the right level of engineering support for your business. All plans can be billed in pounds, euros or dollars.

Base Partnership (small sites)

For smaller sites focused on essential stability. Up to 15 hours of engineering time each month, weighted heavily towards proactive maintenance, with SiteBeacon monitoring and full portal access. $1,000 (£750) per month

Maintain Partnership

For established sites that need dependable upkeep with room for steady improvement. 35 to 40 hours a month, roughly a 60/40 to 80/20 split between maintenance and enhancements, adding uptime and health monitoring. $2,400 (£1,800) per month

Growth Partnership

The tier where the balance tips: half to seventy percent of your 70 to 80 monthly hours go to new features and enhancements. Adds error tracking and logging, technical SEO monitoring, an automated weekly digest, a monthly value and health report, and a shared communication channel. $4,200 (£3,150) per month

Growth Plus Partnership

For digital flagships in active development. 120 hours a month, weighted 60 to 80 percent towards new features, with quarterly strategic review calls and an annual roadmap planning session on top of the full monitoring and reporting suite. $6,000 (£4,500) per month

Additional services

Custom engineering plans

Two to five engineers working, with support services, as an extension of your team, from 200 hours a month, with custom allocation, custom monitoring structures, monthly strategic reviews, annual roadmap planning and communication in whatever channel your organisation prefers. From $7,500 (£5,625) per month

Working with agencies
