Publisher Discovery engaged us to redevelop their existing site, which had been developed using ACF meta box, making it difficult to manage and update.
Our solution utilised Beaver Builder as the page builder, with custom modules, rows and templates for ease of management and a bespoke theme based on our inhouse Hive Theme.
The Solution
The website was created by our design and UX team using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud. Additionally, we improved on the existing site, by ensuring consistency as well as the proper use of the client's great set of brand guidelines that were not reflected in the existing site.
The website was designed to ensure that it could be managed inhouse. Alongside the use of saved modules, rows and templates in Beaver Builder we also custom coded a number of modules, such as pricing and the hero section. The pricing module is fully editable including the ability to highlight different boxes, separation of monthly and yearly and the ability to edit the title text of the iFrames.
The site requires a great deal of JavaScript, and a number of integrations such as the help centre, which meant that optimisation for page speed was a major challenge. Through recoding some of the JavaScript to enable us to implement Nitropack, we have achieved a score of 99 out of 100 on both mobile and desktop, ensuring the site is ready for Core Web Vitals.
The Result
With the success of their new website that is easy to update and manage, Publisher Discovery is already seeing an increase in the volume of leads compared to the previous site.
The site will continue to evolve, with more content as well as the introduction of pricing for different countries and country-based site information for the hero section.
